About the role...

The Marketing Coordinator, Peppa Pig Theme Park - Florida will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to launch Peppa Pig Theme Park (PPTP) in February 2022. As a support role, this position will be primarily focused on the pre-launch marketing needs for the new park and liaising with the Florida Marketing Team and the New Business Development Team (UK) to ensure projects are managed and executed on time

What you’ll be doing...

Main Responsibilities include:
 - Copywriting for Marketing in the Hasbro/PPTP tone of voice and positioning in accordance to brand guidelines
 - Responsible for Hasbro & LEGO® licensed partner submissions (via the LAS and/or WebProof systems), timeline dissemination of feedback and approvals against project deadlines
 - Project manager for the overall marketing creative project list, including the timeline and deliverables for the various tactical activations
 - Responsible for the invoicing process specific to the managed PPTP projects and maintaining an up-to-date budget for PPTP Marketing
 - Assist with Marketing and/or Public Relations events to support the opening of PPTP
- Work with the Florida and NBD teams to develop an internal Brand Guidelines document specific to PPTP based on the provided guidelines from Hasbro and LEGO® for use for internal training and Human Resources
- Stays abreast of competitive announcements and trends, pricing, etc. and maintains documentation for reference specific to this market
 - All other responsibilities as assigned

Key Objectives:
 - Deliver all tactical marketing elements as approved and on timeline for the beats leading up to and including the Grand Opening of Peppa Pig Theme Park – Florida.
 - Maintain updated accounts of the deliverables status, budget, invoices, etc. for the core PPTP Marketing stakeholders
 - Support all other PPTP Grand Opening marketing functions for successful execution including Public Relations beats, Media lists, overall communications, etc. as needed.
 - Update and maintain the weekly dashboard specific to PPTP pre-opening metrics and consolidate performance KPIs for individual beats to ensure timely reporting for PPTP-specific requests.

Who we’re looking for...

Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications with strong practical experience in copywriting and project management.

Experience in a theme park, advertising agency or closely-related industry preferred. Training will be provided, so applicants are not required to have experience with WebProof, LAS, Workamajig or any internal systems, but must demonstrate ability to learn systems quickly.

Must be a strong communicator and very detail-oriented.

Marketing Coordinator role needs to demonstrate:
- Proficiency in copywriting and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills with high demonstrated attention-to-detail
- Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships both on-site and with extended accountability for projects from teams in the UK
- Computer proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, & Excel and the ability to learn project management and submission software (training will be provided)

Education:
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, Business, Marketing, or closely-related field (or equivalent education or experience) from an accredited college or university is required.
